The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, with the ability to build, and repair HVAC systems. This role involves working in various environments, providing field service support, and ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. Duties Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Work with ammonia refrigeration systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Execute plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations and repairs. Provide excellent customer service while communicating effectively with clients about system operations and maintenance needs. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely. Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used. Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC system installation and repair. Familiarity with design principles related to HVAC systems. Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Experience in field service environments, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills. Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. Proficiency in welding techniques as they relate to HVAC applications is desirable. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
