In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical knowledge in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment where safety, quality, and customer satisfaction are paramount. Requirements High school diploma or GED Completion of an accredited HVAC training program or equivalent on-the-job experience 2-5 years of residential and/or light commercial HVAC experience (adjust as needed) Valid driver's license with clean driving record EPA Section 608 Certification (Type II or Universal preferred Preferred (Not Required) State HVAC license or journeyman card (if applicable in your area) NATE certification or equivalent industry certifications Bilingual (e.g., English/Spanish) Technical Skills & Knowledge Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including: Split systems, heat pumps, gas furnaces, package units Basic refrigeration cycle and combustion theory Ability to: Install, maintain, and repair HVAC equipment and related controls Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment manuals Use gauges, multimeters, combustion analyzers, and other diagnostic tools Familiarity with: Building and mechanical codes related to HVAC Basic electrical and low-voltage controls Basic plumbing related to condensate drains and gas piping Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to: Lift 50-75 lbs regularly Work in confined spaces, attics, rooftops, and crawl spaces Climb ladders and work at heights Work in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, humidity) Willingness to participate in rotating on-call schedule, including evenings and weekends Soft Skills & Professional Requirements Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Good verbal and written communication with customers and team members Professional appearance and customer-service mindset Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong time-management and documentation skills (work orders, service reports, etc.) Reliability and punctuality Join us if you're passionate about delivering top-tier HVAC solutions through expert service delivery!
