In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and servicing HVAC systems, refrigeration units, plumbing components, and related mechanical equipment. Your expertise will ensure optimal operation of heating and cooling systems while adhering to safety standards and technical specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity for skilled technicians eager to apply their mechanical knowledge in a fast-paced field service environment. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment such as ammonia refrigeration systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs. Perform routine maintenance on mechanical systems to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan. Conduct field service operations involving appliance repair, plumbing tasks, welding, and equipment adjustments to ensure system efficiency. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic instruments to test electrical components and mechanical parts. Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance data. Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all maintenance activities while managing property maintenance tasks as needed. Experience Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC/R systems with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and schematics. Hands-on experience with HVAC design principles, refrigeration systems (including ammonia refrigeration), boiler operation, and appliance repair. Knowledge of construction processes related to HVAC installation projects is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge complemented by field service experience in property maintenance or facility management environments. Familiarity with plumbing systems, welding techniques, and the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters is preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers or similar vehicles is advantageous. Additional skills in welding, equipment repair, boiler maintenance, or mechanic work will enhance your ability to succeed in this role.
