In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor air quality, energy efficiency, and system reliability. Responsibilities Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs. Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan. Troubleshoot electrical components using tools such as ohmmeters and perform equipment repairs with precision. Perform plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including refrigerant line servicing and ammonia refrigeration systems. Weld, fabricate, or modify equipment as needed to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards. Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and document all repairs performed for accountability. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related mechanical fields with a strong understanding of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems. Construction background or experience working on property maintenance projects is highly desirable. Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, refrigeration technology including ammonia refrigeration systems. Mechanical aptitude with experience in equipment repair, welding, boiler operation, and appliance repair. Ability to read technical diagrams and operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; familiarity with driver requirements preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by field service experience in commercial or residential settings. Additional skills such as welding certification, property maintenance expertise, or mechanic experience are advantageous.
