This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical expertise in a fast-paced environment, ensuring optimal comfort and safety for our clients. You will troubleshoot complex systems, perform routine maintenance, and deliver exceptional service that keeps properties running smoothly. Your mechanical knowledge and field service experience will be vital in diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions promptly. Duties Diagnose and repair a wide range of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ammonia refrigeration systems. Perform routine preventative maintenance on heating, cooling, refrigeration, and plumbing systems to maximize efficiency and lifespan. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately troubleshoot issues. Conduct equipment repairs using tools such as ohmmeters, welders, and other mechanical instruments; ensure all repairs meet safety standards. Install new HVAC components or systems in compliance with industry codes and specifications. Maintain detailed service records, including inspection reports, repair logs, and system performance data. Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems to ensure continuous operation and compliance with regulations. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC, refrigeration, or property maintenance roles. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in construction processes and schematics interpretation. Experience working with HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, and appliance repair is highly desirable. Ability to operate specialized tools such as ohmmeters, welding equipment, and diagnostic devices effectively. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving drivers is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently in the field under minimal supervision. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
