HVAC Maintenance Technician This full-time, benefits-eligible position is Monday through Friday, with rotating on-call hours on weekends. It is generally every fifth weekend, requiring flexibility for emergencies.

About this role:

Perform skilled and complex HVAC work. Repair and perform preventative maintenance on commercial kitchen equipment.

What you will do:

Maintains and repairs all of the HVAC-R equipment. Installation of new equipment as needed. Keep building mechanicals in top condition at all times. Operate Tracer Summit building controls and Tracer Ensemble automation. Maintain accurate records, engage with a range of contractors, and ensure they are held accountable for everything from water care to state-regulated boiler tests. Operate a large variety of tools, from hand tools to laptops. Operate various diagnostic and testing instruments. Read complex blueprints, piping, sketches, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Perform brazing, soldering, pipefitting, welding, and fabrication. Repair and maintain commercial kitchen equipment. (e.g., all types of refrigerators, ovens, stoves, grills, and commercial coffee machines) Basic general construction, plumbing, and electrical. Responsible for RLC, HOH, and

A:

Qualifications HVAC schooling, EPA 608 certifications, hands-on experience, mechanically minded, and Aerial Lift Platform Certification. Knowledge of general construction, electricity, and plumbing. Be able to climb ladders and access small areas. Show a certain degree of dexterity and be mechanically inclined. Licensed in aerial lift platforms or willing to obtain.

We expect that this role will attend one Sunday morning service weekly in person to become or remain familiar with our culture, beliefs, and structure, and more effectively fulfill this role. We request this role to actively volunteer for a Res Life ministry outside their work role and schedule to support our goal of winning souls and making disciples.

Physical Requirements:

This position will require lifting over 50 lbs. It will also require climbing ladders and stairs, operating and working in aerial lifts, and considerable walking due to the size of our building. This position requires a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, reliable transportation, and meeting the RLC driving requirements.
