Job Description

Gilk Services is a family-owned and operated plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and water solutions company dedicated to quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer care. We're expanding and looking for a skilled, motivated HVAC Installer to lead our HVAC installation crews on new construction, remodel projects and retro fits. What You'll Do Lead and supervise HVAC installation crews on residential and light commercial construction sites. Review blueprints and mechanical layouts to plan daily tasks. Oversee installation of ductwork, equipment, and mechanical systems. Coordinate with general contractors and other trades to keep jobs moving smoothly. Ensure work meets code, quality standards, and project timelines. Train and mentor installers and apprentices. Maintain a safe, organized, and productive jobsite. Minimum requirements of the
HVAC Foreman:
5+ years of HVAC installation experience in construction Strong knowledge of duct systems, mechanical layout, and new-construction workflows. EPA certification for handling refrigerant or willing to obtain Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Great communication skills and a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and without direct supervision Proficient in use of computer programs and technology related to the position After hours/on-call service availability Lift up to 50 pounds; be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices); carry ladders; work from heights, work in small crawl spaces Observe all company procedures and safety rules Maintain accurate time records and send to payroll when required Well groomed, neat appearance Valid driver's license; HVAC certifications a plus.
