$30-35 per hour, with overtime as applicable Job Summary Grow One LLC is seeking an experienced HVAC Installer to assist with the build-out of a cannabis facility in St. Cloud, MN. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position focused on HVAC installation, ductwork, equipment placement, mechanical support, and facility infrastructure setup. The ideal candidate has strong experience with ducting, HVAC unit installation, mechanical systems, and jobsite safety. This role requires someone who can read basic plans or instructions, work efficiently with contractors and tradespeople, and take pride in clean, accurate installation work. This is a great opportunity for someone with HVAC, mechanical, construction, or trade experience who wants to be part of a growing cannabis business. There may be opportunity for a permanent position within the facility once the business opens. All applicants must be over the age of 21 years old.
Responsibilities may include:
Installing HVAC ductwork, fittings, hangers, supports, and related components Assisting with installation of HVAC units, air handlers, fans, ventilation equipment, and related mechanical systems Measuring, cutting, assembling, and securing ducting and sheet metal components Supporting equipment placement, alignment, and installation Assisting with ventilation, air movement, and environmental control systems within the facility Using hand tools, power tools, lifts, and jobsite equipment safely and effectively Reading and following basic mechanical drawings, layouts, plans, or installation instructions Working with contractors, tradespeople, and internal team members to complete build-out tasks Moving, organizing, and staging HVAC materials, equipment, and supplies Performing general construction support, cleanup, and site organization as needed Troubleshooting basic installation issues and communicating needs clearly to supervisors Operating equipment if qualified, such as a forklift, skid steer, scissor lift, boom lift, or Bobcat Following all safety policies, site rules, and company procedures Showing up on time and ready to work for early morning starts Qualified applicants should have: HVAC installation experience required Experience installing ductwork, ventilation systems, HVAC units, air handlers, fans, or similar mechanical equipment Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, fastening methods, and jobsite safety Ability to measure, cut, assemble, hang, and secure ducting accurately Basic understanding of airflow, ventilation, mechanical systems, and equipment installation Ability to read or follow basic mechanical plans, layouts, or installation instructions Sheet metal, mechanical, construction, refrigeration, or facility build-out experience preferred Experience in commercial, industrial, agricultural, cultivation, or controlled-environment facilities a plus Forklift, skid steer, Bobcat, scissor lift, or boom lift experience a plus Ability to work full-time, 40-50 hours per week Ability to start work at 6:00 AM Willingness to work occasional weekends or flexible hours if needed Strong work ethic and ability to work well with a team Ability to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds, bend, stand, climb, and perform physical work throughout the shift Opportunity for Permanent Employment This position is expected to support the facility build-out phase, with the potential opportunity to transition into a permanent role within the cannabis facility once operations begin. Background Check Employment opportunity beyond the construction phase of this project is dependent on the employee's ability to pass a federal background check in compliance with Minnesota law for cannabis employment. Pay:
