HVAC Technician / General Maintenance

We are a residential and commercial property owner and management company based in Cape Girardeau, MO seeking a full-time technician to join our maintenance team. We are looking for an applicant who is skilled in solving general maintenance issues in a variety of contexts and structure types, from single family homes to apartment complexes, as well as commercial spaces. Past experience with maintenance work or related areas is preferred, but the applicant's desire and ability to learn quickly on the job are viewed as equally important. Responsibilities Respond to maintenance requests in occupied and unoccupied apartments, houses, and office spaces. Inspect, repair, and maintain systems related to heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical. Inspect and conduct repairs for a variety of potential needs, not limited to: Drywall, paint, baseboards, doors, windows, cabinetry, flooring, lighting, and appliances. Work with office staff and others on the maintenance team to coordinate inspections and repairs as necessary. Be available to work on-call for emergency maintenance requests after hours and on weekends, scheduled in one-week increments on a rotational basis with other members of our maintenance team. Use a designated smartphone app to keep up-to-date on work order status, make any necessary notes on progress (including photos), and to mark work complete.
