The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC installation and maintenance, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role requires mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in various HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Duties Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and installation requirements. Conduct HVAC design assessments to determine the best solutions for clients' needs. Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations as needed. Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and diagnostics of HVAC equipment. Engage in field service activities, responding to service calls promptly and professionally. Carry out appliance repairs related to HVAC systems as necessary. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during installations or repairs. Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure seamless operation of HVAC systems across facilities. Adhere to all safety protocols while performing welding tasks or working with ammonia refrigeration systems. Requirements Proven experience as an HVAC installer or service technician is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with a background in construction or property maintenance is advantageous. Familiarity with HVAC/R principles, air conditioning systems, boilers, and refrigeration techniques is essential. Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. Experience with equipment repair and maintenance tasks is required. Valid driver's license is necessary for travel between job sites. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role. Previous experience in field service or mechanic roles will be considered a plus.
