Duties Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, and related mechanical systems across diverse property types Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions Perform routine inspections of HVAC equipment, boilers, ammonia refrigeration units, and plumbing systems to ensure safety and efficiency Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for repairs requiring metal fabrication Conduct field service operations including appliance repair, equipment maintenance, and property upkeep to ensure system longevity and optimal performance Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and logs of all repairs performed for accountability and future reference Adhere to safety protocols while working with refrigerants like ammonia refrigeration systems or other hazardous materials Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC systems, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), plumbing, or mechanical maintenance Knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems including schematics interpretation and HVAC design principles Mechanical knowledge encompassing boiler operation, equipment repair, welding skills, and property maintenance practices Hands-on experience with field service operations involving appliance repair and equipment troubleshooting Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers or similar vehicles preferred Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters and the ability to read technical schematics accurately Ability to work independently in diverse environments while maintaining high standards of safety and quality workmanship Join us in delivering top-tier heating and cooling solutions!
