Job Description

HVAC Controls TechnicianPosition Overview We are seeking a skilled HVAC Controls Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems and controls, with a particular focus on DDC (Direct Digital Control) systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting HVAC control systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Key ResponsibilitiesInstall and configure HVAC control systems including DDC, Lonworks, and BACnet protocols.

Troubleshoot and repair HVAC controls and systems to maintain operational efficiency.

Perform regular maintenance and inspections on HVAC control equipment.

Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to develop control strategies and improve system performance.

Provide technical support and training to clients and team members as needed.

Document all work performed, including system modifications and maintenance activities.

QualificationsProven experience as a Controls Technician or similar role in HVAC systems.

Knowledge of DDC systems, Lonworks, BACnet, and related control technologies.

Familiarity with Johnson Controls and Distech Controls products is a plus.

Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Technical degree in HVAC technology, electrical engineering, or a related field preferred.

Relevant certifications in HVAC controls are an advantage.
