The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various HVAC equipment. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality service and ensuring optimal system performance. This is a part time contract to full time hire opportunity with plenty of growth in our small but quickly scaling company. Duties Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using tools such as Ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work performed. Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure efficient property maintenance operations. Design and build custom HVAC solutions as needed for specific projects. Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients regarding their HVAC needs. Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and services provided. Requirements Proven experience as an HVAC Mechanic or similar role in property maintenance or as a service technician. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including refrigeration principles and components. Familiarity with tools and equipment used in the HVAC industry, including the ability to plumb and boil systems effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to design solutions for complex HVAC challenges. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to achieve project goals. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC are preferred but not mandatory.
