A combination skilled Emergency Mechanical Technician can earn up to $60 hr., having tested out at the highest levels. EPA certification Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Self-motivated and able to work independently Professional appearance and customer-first attitude Territory This position is based in the Springfield and surrounding area. While many calls will be located in and around Springfield, technicians should expect to support our primary service area approximately 1.5 hours away. • $60 Benefits Company truck Dental insurance Vision Insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Professional development skillset growth assistance A clear pathway forward for advancement Duties Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on light commercial HVAC and Refrigeration systems.

(Food Equipment & Plumbing a bonus) Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design documents to accurately diagnose issues. Install, modify, and service equipment including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems (walk-ins & reach-ins), food equipment and plumbing components. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and hvac/r tools to repair electrical circuits and mechanical parts. Conduct property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems to ensure safety and compliance with industry standards. Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs of all work performed for accountability and quality assurance. Communicate effectively with clients to explain technical issues and recommend appropriate solutions while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Skills Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on HVAC/R systems in commercial environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and HVAC design plans. Skilled in HVAC, Refrigeration (Walk-in / Reach-in) electrical troubleshooting, food equipment repair. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse settings while maintaining high safety standards.
