Job Description

Position Title:
HVAC Mechanic Time Type:
Full time
Position Summary and Qualifications:
Under general supervision to perform general maintenance repairs and assist in assigned duties. This is a unionized position and subject to the University's Collective Bargaining Agreement with SEIU (BJ32) Essential Duties & Responsibilities Operate and adjust building equipment including temperature controls and make minor repairs. Plan and organize maintenance and repairs. Repair heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Do preventive maintenance checks and change filters, clean coils, etc. Perform all and other related maintenance duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Required Skilled in the use of tools and equipment necessary to perform the duties described above. Mechanical ability. Must be able to follow directions. Five years of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning experience. Must have a valid driver's license. Be familiar with building codes.
Pay Transparency:
This position has a fixed starting rate of 36.86 per hour. Notice to
