Role:
We are seeking a seasoned HVAC professional with specialized expertise in Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems and data center environments, as well as experience leading and training other Techs. This role offers the opportunity to oversee critical HVAC projects from construction through commissioning, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of advanced climate control systems. Specialized Expertise:
Leverage your knowledge of HVAC systems in a data center environment HVAC requirements to maintain and enhance critical infrastructure. Split systems, Controls systems troubleshooting, Chillers, VRF systems (not required, but a plus)

Play a vital role in maintaining the environmental conditions essential for data center operations, directly influencing uptime and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee HVAC equipment delivery, verifying order specifications, inspecting for completeness and shipping damage, and coordinating on-site logistics. Training and overseeing other Technicians and their work performance.
Installation Support:
Assist mechanical contractors during equipment mobilization and installation, ensuring adherence to project timelines and safety protocols. Data center HVAC systems (mission-critical facilities) Redundant cooling systems experience is preferred Industrial HVAC and controls systems Startup, commissioning, and warranty-phase systems Ammonia refrigeration systems (not required, but used as a comparison for skill level and safety mindset) Large industrial refrigeration / cold storage systems. Higher-end supermarket refrigeration systems (Helpful not required)
Controls Integration:
Verify communication between PLCs, BMS platforms, and HVAC equipment, ensuring seamless integration.
Equipment Startup:
of HVAC systems, coordinating with electricians and BMS engineers to simulate operational conditions and record performance data.
Commissioning Support:
Participate in the commissioning process, verifying alarms, alerts, and scripted functional testing of equipment.
Technical Support & Training:
Provide end-user training, technical support to on-site technicians, and perform warranty repairs as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading HVAC teams. Familiarity with energy efficiency initiatives and sustainability practices in HVAC systems. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting. Requirements 5 + years of experience in HVAC maintenance, with a focus on VRF systems. Proven experience working within data center environments or similar critical infrastructure settings. Strong understanding of HVAC control systems and Building Automation Systems (BAS). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Relevant HVAC certifications and licenses as required by local regulations.
