Job Description

HVAC Maintenance - Service Technician | $35.00 to $45.00 per hour Pay is based on experience + Spiffs / bonuses
Work Hours:
Monday to Friday | 7:30am to 4:30pm Mountain Heating and Cooling | Bozeman MT We pride ourselves as being the choice for excellent customer comfort. Our Expertise + Training Market-leading cold-climate heat pump solutions designed for reliable performance in extreme conditions Specialized knowledge in Mitsubishi ductless heat pumps and air conditioning systems Advanced digital duct design using Wrightsoft and other industry-leading tools Comprehensive system upgrades for improved efficiency, comfort, and performance in homes and offices High-quality HVAC design and installation for new construction projects Diagnostic and remediation services using ACCA load calculations and high-efficiency airflow design to optimize and restore underperforming systems
Job Duties:
Diagnostics, service, and repair on residential and some light commercial heating and air conditioning systems Providing annual routine maintenance Read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints Consulting with customers regarding repair, upgrades, and replacement options Communication with clients on annual maintenance program and indoor air quality products that fit customers' needs

Qualifications:
2+ years of HVAC service experience Residential service experience required Experience with RTU (rooftop unit) service and routine maintenance preferred EPA Universal Certification required Proven ability to diagnose issues and make repair or replacement recommendations Low voltage license, or willingness to obtain within 2 years of employment High school diploma or equivalent required Valid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record Completion of an HVAC technical school program preferred
