About the Role As a Residential HVAC Field Technician, you will serve as a primary technical expert responsible for ensuring home comfort and system efficiency. You will play a vital role in diagnosing complex mechanical issues and providing homeowners with reliable, high-quality solutions that improve their living environment. Responsibilities Execute precise diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on diverse residential systems, including forced-air, hydronic, oil, and ductless units. Optimize system performance by troubleshooting airflow, refrigerant, fuel, and electrical components using advanced diagnostic instrumentation. Drive customer satisfaction by clearly explaining technical findings and recommending improvements for home safety and energy efficiency. Maintain operational readiness through accurate documentation of service logs and diligent management of vehicle inventory. Foster a culture of excellence by mentoring junior technicians and sharing technical expertise. Ensure all service activities adhere to industry best practices and local building codes to guarantee long-term system reliability. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in residential HVAC service. Current EPA Universal Certification. Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical system failures. Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record. Physical capability to lift 50 pounds and perform tasks in varied environments, including crawling, kneeling, and climbing. Preferred Skills Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and industry learning. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. Experience with high-velocity or specialized heating and cooling technologies.
