Job Description

Part-Time Senior HVAC Service & Installation Technician for Residential and Commercial Rentals Experienced HVAC Professionals Wanted We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced HVAC Service & Installation Technician to join our growing property rental company on a part-time basis. This position is for a seasoned technician who can work independently, diagnose problems accurately, and complete installations and repairs to a high standard without supervision.
Pay:
$35-45 per hour
Schedule:
Part-time (15 hours per week) Flexible weekday or weekend hours (make your own schedule) Additional hours available during peak seasons Limited on-call responsibilities Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, maintain, and install residential HVAC systems. Remove and replace package units, split systems, heat pumps, air handlers, furnaces, condensers, and mini-split systems. Recover refrigerant, evacuate systems using a vacuum pump, properly charge systems, and verify performance. Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, and airflow issues. Install, remove, repair, and replace complete duct systems, including trunk lines, branch runs, flex duct, supply and return ducts, boots, plenums, and transitions. Perform preventive maintenance and seasonal inspections. Complete quality work that meets applicable codes and manufacturer specifications. Maintain professional service records and communicate repair recommendations. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of residential HVAC service and installation experience required. EPA Universal Certification Ability to independently complete change-outs and full HVAC system installations from start to finish. Experience with refrigerant recovery, evacuation, charging, leak detection, and system commissioning. Proficient in ductwork fabrication, installation, and replacement. Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical HVAC components. Must supply your own professional-grade HVAC tools and hand tools. Valid driver's license Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. NATE Certification is a plus. This position is for experienced HVAC techs only.
