We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented HVAC Installers and Apprentices to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, and related mechanical systems across various properties. Whether you're an experienced technician or just starting your career as an apprentice, you'll play a vital part in ensuring our clients experience optimal comfort and system performance. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment while contributing to essential property maintenance and service operations. Responsibilities Install HVAC systems, including heat pumps, air handlers, refrigerant lines, condensate drains, mini splits and duct systems. Start to finish construction of hvac systems. Training begins with an overall view of how the system and all components need to be installed. As As basic tasks are learned, more complicated tasks are delegated, including brazing of refrigerant lines, pressurizing refrigerant circuits and pulling vacuums on refigerant circuits. After learning to braze, pressurize and pull vacuums, then employee will learn more tasks regarding start up and commissioning of systems, including all low voltage circuits at thermostat, heat pump and air handler, sequence of operations for a start up, programming systems and determining correct refrigerant pressures for the system. Setting proper airflow adjustments on indoor units Use field service techniques to diagnose issues on-site, providing prompt solutions for repair or maintenance needs. Operate a box truck or van safely for transporting equipment or parts between job sites. Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex system failures and perform equipment repair efficiently Prior experience in construction or HVAC roles is highly desirable. Familiarity with HVAC/R systems, schematics, and HVAC design principles is a strong plus. Mechanical knowledge combined with field service experience enhances your ability to diagnose and resolve issues effectively. Hands-on experience with equipment repair, welding techniques, or property maintenance demonstrates versatility in technical skills. Personal standard hand tools are preferred. Company can assist with hand tools and industry specific tools through our tool account allowance to each employee. Valid NC driver's license with a clean record is preferred. Certification or training in HVAC/R technology or related fields is beneficial but not mandatory for apprentices eager to learn on the job. Pay:
$13.00 - $27.00 per hour
