In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor climate control, energy efficiency, and system reliability. We are open to all experience levels with compensation packages determined based on experience. Responsibilities (subject to candidate experience levels) Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Troubleshoot complex mechanical problems using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic devices. Conduct plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems, including pipe fitting and leak detection. Repair appliances and mechanical components associated with property maintenance projects. Weld or perform equipment repairs that require mechanical skill or welding expertise. Operate a driver vehicle safely for field service visits across multiple sites. Work with ammonia refrigeration systems and understand safety protocols related to hazardous refrigerants like Ammonia Refrigeration or HVAC/R systems. Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs of all work performed for accountability and future reference. Requirements (subject to candidates experience) Proven experience as a service technician within the HVAC industry or related construction fields. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair. Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and property maintenance procedures. Knowledge of refrigeration systems—including ammonia refrigeration—and air conditioning units. Skilled in equipment repair techniques such as welding and boiler maintenance. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating driver vehicles preferred. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical components. Mechanical experience with appliances repair, field service operations, or property maintenance is advantageous. Certifications in HVAC/R or relevant technical training are preferred but not mandatory; ongoing training encouraged.
