Job Description

Industrial HVAC Technician Duties/Responsibilities:
Performs routine repairs and preventative maintenance to a variety of building heating, ventilation, air conditioning equipment including air handling units, chillers, heat pumps, exhaust fans, fan coil units, variable air volume boxes, motors, and pumps. Knowledge or experience in the following skill areas: piping/plumbing repair, HVAC fundamentals, belt replacement, electrical schematics, and troubleshooting. Perform repairs of HVACR systems and equipment including air handling units, chillers, heat pumps, exhaust fans, fan coil units, variable air volume boxes, motors, pumps, air distribution machinery, pneumatic and digital controls, hot and chilled water distribution and variable volume systems. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills. Works well independently and with others. Good communication skills. Organized with attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent 2 to 4 years' experience
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods standing and walking. Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery. Must be able to visually inspect machines. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
