Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor climate control, energy efficiency, and system reliability. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration units, and ventilation equipment. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Conduct routine inspections of HVAC equipment to identify potential problems before they escalate. Perform plumbing work related to HVAC systems such as pipe fitting and drainage troubleshooting. Utilize tools like ohmmeters and welding equipment to repair electrical components and mechanical parts. Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports documenting all work performed for quality assurance and compliance purposes. Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems ensuring safety standards are met at all times. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC systems; construction or mechanical experience is highly valued. Strong knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration, and plumbing fundamentals. Familiarity with field service operations involving appliance repair, equipment troubleshooting, welding, boiler maintenance, and property upkeep. Ability to read technical diagrams accurately and work with various tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment. Mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R systems combined with practical experience in equipment repair and maintenance. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred for transportation needs. Additional skills in welding, ammonia refrigeration handling, mechanical diagnostics, and electrical troubleshooting are advantageous.
