Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled HVAC & Refrigeration Technician to support multiple restaurants locations throughout Wake County. This is a priority hire for the company. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to minimizing equipment downtime in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Self-motivated able to work independently and solve problems proactively. Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Service and maintain commercial restaurant equipment including: Walk-in freezers and coolers Ice machines
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC and refrigeration system issues
- Repair or replace defective components and wiring
- Inspect, clean, and test systems for proper operation
- Identify potential problems before equipment failure
- Maintain detailed service records
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Provide professional and courteous service to restaurant management
- Collaborate with the service team to prioritize maintenance tasks Qualifications 1-3 years of active HVAC field experience Experience with commercial refrigeration preferred Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams Strong communication skills Billingual is a plus Benefits Competitive hourly pay Company benefits Training & development opportunities Opportunity for advancement Supportive and professional work environment
