Join Custom Aire's mechanical construction team as a Commercial Sheet Metal Installer (Apprentice) . Our registered apprenticeship program gives you the opportunity to learn the sheet metal trade while being paid to do it. Success comes from your ability to advance in the program to gain greater skill on the job and value. Due to our growth and our upcoming Apprenticeship classes in the fall, we are looking for candidates who will reside in the Grand Forks, ND area. To learn more about us, please visit: Custom Aire Careers Here is what you will do under direct supervision: Assemble and install commercial HVAC systems which include sheet metal ductwork, air handling units, or air terminal units per plans and best practices. Assist with setting rooftop and/or condensing units. Adhere to safety procedures and company safety policy, including wearing appropriate construction attire and Personal Protective Equipment. Operation company vehicle/s and equipment. Climb ladders, and scaffolding, and use man lifts and scissor lifts to perform work duties. Safeguard company materials and tools to protect from damage or theft.

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Ability to use hand and power tools. Good mechanical aptitude, effective time management, and organization skills Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record (5 years) Willingness to travel by company vehicle to worksites, including overnight travel based on business needs (+-25% of the time) Willingness to work overtime or longer hours

Preferred Qualifications:
