Build Smarter Buildings with a Team That Values Technical Skill We're looking for an experienced HVAC Controls Technician who enjoys troubleshooting, problem-solving, and working with advanced building automation systems in commercial environments. At Control Masters, we specialize in intelligent HVAC and building automation solutions that improve building performance, efficiency, and comfort. We're building a team of skilled technicians who take pride in technical excellence and want long-term growth in the BAS/controls industry. This is not a basic maintenance role. We're looking for professionals with experience in: HVAC controls Building automation systems (BAS/BMS) Controls troubleshooting Commissioning System integrations Commercial HVAC environments What We Offer $24 - $40 per hour, depending on experience, with performance-based bonuses Company Vehicle Health Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) PTO + Paid Holidays 401(k) with Company Match Ongoing Technical Training Career Advancement Opportunities Exposure to Advanced BAS Technologies Stable Commercial Projects Tools and Uniforms Provided Flexible Scheduling What You'll Do Install, troubleshoot, and service HVAC control systems Support BAS integrations and system startup Diagnose controls, communication, and system performance issues Work with controllers, sensors, and networked HVAC systems Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and customers Maintain accurate service documentation and reporting Preferred Experience Completion of a technical program or apprenticeship in HVAC or a related field 1-2 years of experience in HVAC, building automation systems (BAS/BMS), HVAC controls, or similar systems Strong understanding of HVAC systems and related components Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, controls diagrams, and technical documents Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills Commercial HVAC experience preferred Familiarity with BAS platforms and protocols such as Niagara/Tridium, BACnet, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, or Distech Familiarity with Schneider or Niagara building automation software preferred Comfortable with IT networking and basic computer skills preferred Ability to lift equipment and work in various commercial environments Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with customers and team members Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Who Succeeds Here Our best technicians are: Technically curious Self-motivated Reliable Detail-oriented Strong communicators We're building a long-term team of professionals who want more than just another service job — they want a career in advanced building automation technology.
