We're a family-owned, local HVAC company that prioritizes real human connections over call centers and big corporate confusion. Who We Are (And Who We Aren't) Let's be honest: a lot of companies in this industry just want to turn their experienced installers into high-pressure salespeople with a tool bag. That's not us. We recently won the BBB Torch Award for Ethics because we don't push quotas, we don't sell people things they don't need, and we do the job right. We also believe in the community we serve, which is why we give back to a different local non-profit initiative every single month. We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and highly skilled Lead Installation Specialist . If you are a seasoned installer who is sick of the corporate grind and wants a company where your craftsmanship is valued, your time off is respected, and you can focus on actually doing the work, you belong here. The Role You are the on-site captain. Working directly under our Installation Manager, you will oversee and execute the installation of HVAC systems. You won't just be turning wrenches; you will serve as the on-site lead, mentoring our junior installers (Apprentices) and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely. We want someone who takes pride in a clean, perfect install and enjoys passing that knowledge down to the next generation.
What You'll Actually Be Doing:
Installing residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including furnaces, ACs, heat pumps, boilers, and mini-splits. Performing system start-ups, calibrations, and testing for optimal performance. Mentoring junior team members and providing clear guidance to ensure smooth, timely installations. Walking clients through their new systems, ensuring they understand operation, maintenance, and warranty coverage. Ensuring all installations comply with manufacturer specifications, local codes, and our high company standards. Maintaining a clean, stocked, and well-organized company-issued work vehicle. Other duties as assigned. What You Bring to the
Table:
The Experience:
6+ years of HVAC installation experience. The Licenses (Required): EPA Universal Refrigeration Certification and an NH Gas Service License.
The Technical Chops:
Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, controls, and HVAC system design. Proficiency in brazing, soldering, and refrigerant charging.
The Grit:
Ability to lift 100 pounds and work in tight or high spaces like ladders, rooftops, and crawl spaces.
The Leadership:
The ability and patience to lead and mentor junior installers.
The Professionalism:
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Preferred (But Not Required): OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification and NATE Certification in HVAC Installation. The Perks (Why You Want to Work Here) We aren't a big-box company, which means we can treat you like a human being.
Competitive Pay:
$28.00 - $34.00/hr based on experience, plus overtime opportunities.
Paid Birthday Off:
Because your special day matters!
Company Attire:
We provide your gear, plus a Boots & Pants allowance.
Work-Life Balance:
Paid Holidays and PTO. We want you to have time for what matters most.
Health & Future:
Health Insurance and a Retirement Plan with a Company Match.
Respect:
A culture that values your expertise, supports your continued education, and doesn't treat you like a sales machine. Ready to join a shop where service comes first and your work truly matters?
Pay:
$28.00 - $34.00 per hour
