  • Full-time Overview Join our dynamic team as an HVAC Maintenance Technician and become a vital part of maintaining safe, efficient, and comfortable environments across our properties.
In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for installing, repairing, and servicing a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal operation of equipment, uphold property standards, and contribute to the overall well-being of our facilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced, rewarding setting where proactive maintenance and problem-solving are celebrated. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, boilers, plumbing, and related mechanical equipment to ensure peak performance. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to identify root causes efficiently. Repair or replace faulty components including compressors, motors, valves, electrical wiring, and piping to restore system functionality promptly. Conduct complex equipment repairs involving welding, mechanical adjustments, or replacement of parts to maintain operational integrity. Install new HVAC/R equipment following HVAC design specifications and schematics while adhering to safety standards and building codes. Manage field service tasks including appliance repair, property maintenance duties, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations such as ammonia refrigeration handling. Operate a driver vehicle safely for transportation of tools or equipment between sites as needed. Requirements Proven experience in service technician roles within construction or property maintenance environments with a focus on HVAC/R systems. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, plumbing, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), boiler operation, and HVAC system troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design documents accurately. Familiarity with electrical systems testing using tools like ohmmeters; welding skills are a plus. Demonstrated experience in field service operations with excellent problem-solving skills under pressure. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating driver vehicles preferred. Knowledge of appliance repair techniques and general property maintenance practices. Certifications or training in HVAC/R systems; additional qualifications in construction or mechanic experience are advantageous.
