HVAC Helper

Your hands-on support will help ensure efficient operation of climate control systems, refrigeration units, and related mechanical equipment. Responsibilities Assist experienced HVAC technicians with installation, repair, and maintenance of heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems. You will report daily to the warehouse to load parts for field installations. Support the setup and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment using schematics and technical diagrams. Use tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and perform basic equipment repairs. Conduct routine property maintenance tasks related to HVAC and mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation. Follow safety protocols during all field service activities and maintain a clean work environment. Support welding or boiler-related tasks as needed under supervision to develop mechanical knowledge. Skills Basic understanding of construction principles relevant to HVAC installation and repair projects. Prior service technician or field service experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design concepts, and mechanical drawings. Mechanical aptitude with experience in equipment repair, welding, and boiler maintenance. Ability to operate testing tools such as ohmmeters and other electrical diagnostic devices. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
