Position Summary The Master HVACR Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial refrigeration systems, including projects that use ammonia as a refrigerant. This role ensures the safe and efficient operation of refrigeration equipment, maintains compliance with safety regulations, and provides technical expertise to clients. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot refrigeration equipment Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance Respond to emergency breakdowns and diagnose refrigeration system issues Use specialized tools and equipment to repair or replace defective components Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients and management Participate in training and professional development to enhance technical skills and industry knowledge Qualifications Valid Master HVACR License in the state of New Jersey Working knowledge of ammonia, Freon, and CO2 systems , including applicable safety regulations Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies up to 50 lbs Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights Ability to work in cold temperatures and wear required personal protective equipment Ability to climb ladders, use power tools, and perform manual labor Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and work in a variety of environments Benefits Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) retirement savings plan (eligibility after 90 days) Life and accidental death insurance Short-term and long-term disability insurance Paid holidays and paid time off Referral bonus program Opportunities for advancement and career growth Professional development and training opportunities Company vehicle or car allowance (varies by position) Company cell phone (varies by position) Additional Programs Employee Boot Program - voucher and replacement boots every two years after eligibility Company Vehicle Ownership Program for field employees - vehicle ownership after a qualifying period or a $10,000 cash alternative Equal Employment Opportunity IRPROS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
