HVAC Mechanic

Rider University invites applications for a HVAC Mechanic who will repair and maintain all heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems on campus. The HVAC Mechanic will participate in pool maintenance as assigned. Must have or obtain a Certified Pool Operator certificate within 6 months of hire. Please note that Rider will provide certification training. At least 5-7 years HVAC experience. Some knowledge in electrical and plumbing. Knowledge of power and hand tools, chemical handing procedures, and associated safety protocols. This position is required to report to work as part of Rider's emergency response team (e.g. snow removal). The emergency response team is required to work outside of regular business hours, such as nights, weekends and holidays as conditions require.
