This is an opportunity to work hands-on with advanced mechanical systems in a team-oriented environment. Job Duties & Responsibilities Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of HVAC/R systems and related mechanical equipment. Respond to service calls and conduct preventive maintenance inspections using diagnostic tools and testing instruments. Interpret blueprints, schematics, control systems, and energy management system data to support facility operations. Prepare work orders, material requisitions, maintenance reports, and assist with directing trades helpers and other maintenance personnel. Required Skills & Experience Technical school diploma or equivalent experience with 5+ years of HVAC/R maintenance and installation experience. Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, controls, compressors, motors, piping, dampers, and related support systems. Ability to read blueprints and schematics with knowledge of applicable local, state, and national codes. Valid Driver"s License and EPA Type II Certification required. Preferred Skills & Experience Experience working in industrial, healthcare, educational, or large facility environments. New Jersey Pesticide License or ability to obtain and maintain certification.
