Full Job Description HVAC Service Repair Technician Job Summary:

CDS repairs Inc is looking for a qualified HVAC Service Technician to undertake a variety of tasks in the field of ventilation, including maintaining and repairing systems. You will be responsible for installing and servicing equipment, repairing or maintaining mechanical and electrical systems, and maintaining facilities. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in troubleshooting and maintaining systems. You must be able to work autonomously and in team settings. We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability. A successful candidate must possess exceptional customer service skills as well as a high level of technical knowledge.

Responsibilities:

Perform installations of new equipment or repairs to existing equipment Diagnose and repair systems or components (ventilation, refrigeration, boiler, humidifier, air-conditioning, etc.) Write reports on maintenance activities and problems occurring Advise on equipment installation or repairs that will ensure the long-term stability of systems or buildings Install ventilation systems (ducts, fans, fansets etc.)and control units (ventilation registers, registers etc.) Perform air quality checks on ventilation systems and report findings to management Install monitoring systems (OASIS, ASHRA) to report on issues (e.g. temperature, performance) and act accordingly when there are safety concerns (e.g. carbon monoxide) Perform maintenance tasks (replacing parts, lubricating mechanisms etc.)and record results in logs or journals Comply with all health and safety guidelines Maintain professional ethics and maintain professional appearance standards

Skills:

•Proven experience as HVAC Service Technician in the field; experience with ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems preferred. •Proven experience working as a HVAC Service Technician; Knowledge of ventilation system installation, repair and maintenance; Knowledge of electrical and mechanical components; Excellent verbal communication skills; Ability to use basic tools (e.g. electric drills); Carrying out reports/solutions; Preferred experience in dealing with customers; Knowledge of OSHA requirements.'
