About the Role As our HVAC Technical Trainer, you'll be the heartbeat of our team's development — shaping the skills of new hires stepping into the trade and experienced technicians looking to sharpen their edge. This is a hands-on, in-person role at our dedicated training center, where your teaching makes a real, lasting impact every single day. What You'll Do Deliver engaging, hands-on training using our live fire equipment and Technical Training Center Design curriculum, training materials, and assessments for residential HVAC installation, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair Train both new hires and experienced technicians — adapting your approach to meet each group where they are Evaluate technician performance and build personalized development plans Collaborate with leadership to align training with company standards and safety practices Stay current with new residential HVAC technology, equipment, and industry trends Track and report training outcomes to management What We're Looking For Proven experience in training, teaching, coaching, or instruction — in HVAC or a related skilled trade Solid working knowledge of residential HVAC systems, including installation, service, and diagnostics Exceptional communicator who can break down complex technical concepts for any audience Patient, enthusiastic, and adaptable teaching style that works for both beginners and seasoned pros Strong organizational skills for managing training materials, schedules, and progress tracking A team-first attitude that fits the close-knit, family culture we've built at Bovio Rubino Preferred (But Not Required) EPA 608 Certification or NATE Certification New Jersey HVAC license Formal training, vocational education, or adult learning background Benefits & Compensation $65,000 - $80,000 annual salary (based on experience) Health, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays Tuition / Certification Reimbursement Company Vehicle Ready to Teach the Next Generation of HVAC Pros?
