HVAC Service/ Refrigeration Technician

Required skills:

Refrigerant recovery machines, oxy-acetylene brazing, etc... 5+ years of field experience or education in refrigeration EPA License Experience with different refrigerants such as: R404A, R290, R134A, etc. Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements Perform Routine Preventive Maintenance Respond to Emergency Service Requests Adhere to all safety policies and procedures Operate all types of hand and power tools, including specialty items like gauge manifolds, vacuum pumps etc. Ability to climb and work from extension ladders and ladders that are affixed to buildings Ability to operate a company vehicle in a safe manner and follow company safety policy Must be able to work long days when necessary and be on-call when scheduled Adhere to all safety policies and procedures Ensure that all required paperwork, both on tablets and in hard copy, for each job is completed correctly, including repair details on work orders, information for the equipment worked on, and inspection reports that are completed accurately and promptly after each call
