Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor climate control, energy efficiency, and system reliability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and field service experience in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence in property maintenance and equipment repair. Duties Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs. Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC/R (refrigeration) equipment to ensure peak performance and longevity. Troubleshoot mechanical problems using tools such as ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other diagnostic devices. Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems, including pipe repairs and component replacements. Repair appliances and mechanical components associated with property maintenance projects. Operate a driver vehicle safely for transporting tools or equipment to various job sites. Work with ammonia refrigeration systems and understand safety protocols related to hazardous refrigerants. Collaborate with property managers or clients to assess HVAC needs and recommend appropriate solutions. Maintain detailed service records, inspection reports, and logs of all work performed for accountability and future reference. Skills Proven experience as a service technician with strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, plumbing, and mechanical repair. Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design plans accurately. Mechanical aptitude with proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment. Hands-on experience with boiler systems, appliance repair, field service operations, and property maintenance tasks. Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems and HVAC/R safety standards. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members or clients effectively.
