Fireplace Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Fireplace Technician to join our team, responsible for maintaining, and repairing fireplaces and related systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technical work, cleaning all fireplaces including gas, pellet and wood. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a broad skill set to ensure customer satisfaction and safety standards are met. The Fireplace Technician will be instrumental in delivering high-quality service in residential and commercial settings, ensuring fireplaces operate efficiently and safely. Duties Perform routine maintenance and inspections of existing fireplace systems to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair fireplace components, including venting systems, burners, igniters, and control mechanisms. Collaborate with clients to assess needs and provide expert recommendations on fireplace options and upgrades. Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times during project execution. Requirements Proven experience with service , inspection, or related fields;

HVAC, CHIMNEY

SWEEPS, and any technical knowledge. Knowledge of plumbing and working with gas also a plus. Osha 10 card required. Familiarity with construction site safety standards and protocols. Ability to read schematics accurately and interpret technical drawings for precise work execution. Experience with masonry work such as concrete forming or stucco is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues effectively. Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration. Valid driver's license preferred; ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments.
