HVAC Service Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for residential and commercial clients. The technician must ensure quality workmanship, provide excellent customer service, and adhere to industry safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems. Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and tune-ups on HVAC equipment. Install HVAC systems and related components as needed. Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal HVAC codes and regulations. Communicate effectively with customers to explain diagnoses, recommendations, and pricing. Complete job reports, service tickets, and documentation accurately and promptly. Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and adhere to company policies and procedures. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical school training preferred. Minimum of 2 years of HVAC service experience preferred. EPA Section 608 certification required. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and tolerate various weather conditions.
