In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems with precision and enthusiasm. Your mechanical knowledge and construction experience will drive your success as you work on diverse residential projects, ensuring each customer receives top-tier service. Duties Install new HVAC systems in residential properties, following schematics and HVAC design plans to ensure proper setup and functionality Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC units, including air conditioning systems, and refrigeration equipment Read and interpret technical schematics, mechanical drawings, and property maintenance plans to guide installations and repairs Conduct field service tasks, property maintenance, and HVAC system servicing Assist with plumbing connections related to HVAC systems Ensure all work complies with safety standards, proper tool use, and local codes Qualifications Proven experience in construction, service technician roles, or field service environments with a focus on HVAC or mechanical systems Strong mechanical knowledge, including familiarity with HVAC design principles Hands-on experience with equipment repair, welding, property maintenance, or appliance repair (highly desirable) Ability to operate tools and diagnostic equipment confidently Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving company vehicles preferred Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to read technical schematics accurately Physical ability to perform installation tasks requiring lifting, climbing ladders, bending, and working in confined spaces Join us in delivering exceptional residential HVAC solutions! Responsibilities Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, boilers, and refrigeration equipment according to schematics and design plans Conduct system diagnostics using appropriate testing tools to troubleshoot issues effectively. Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on HVAC/R equipment to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to accurately assemble and install complex systems Collaborate with property maintenance teams and other trades such as plumbing and welding to coordinate installation processes Test systems for proper operation, making adjustments as needed to meet safety standards and client specifications Maintain detailed service records, installation logs, and inspection reports for all projects completed Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC installation, service technician roles, or property maintenance Proficiency in reading schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical manuals Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is a plus Familiarity with plumbing systems, appliance repair, boiler operation, and welding techniques Ability to operate field service tools and diagnostic equipment confidently. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (including driver if applicable) for safe transportation between job sites Knowledge of HVAC/R standards, refrigeration principles, air conditioning systems, and property maintenance procedures Experience working with schematics for mechanical or electrical components in HVAC installations Mechanical aptitude combined with excellent problem-solving skills to address unexpected issues efficiently
