In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems with a focus on sheet metal fabrication and installation. Your expertise will ensure our clients receive efficient, reliable climate control solutions while adhering to safety standards and project specifications. Responsibilities Install, modify, and repair sheet metal ductwork and HVAC systems according to schematics, blueprints, and design specifications Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and HVAC design plans to execute projects accurately Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, and appliances Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters to identify electrical or mechanical issues Repair or replace HVAC components such as motors, fans, belts, valves, and refrigeration parts with precision Weld sheet metal components as needed for custom ductwork fabrication or repairs Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and safety documentation for each project or service call Requirements Proven experience as a journey-level Sheet Metal HVAC technician with strong mechanical knowledge Extensive construction experience with a focus on HVAC system installation and repair Service technician experience in HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems including ammonia refrigeration is highly desirable Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans accurately Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC setups and property maintenance tasks Familiarity with field service procedures for appliance repair and equipment maintenance Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs Experience working with HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration units, and ammonia refrigeration systems Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform equipment repair, welding, maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting effectively Join us to be part of a team dedicated to delivering top-tier climate control solutions!
