Your technical expertise, problem‑solving ability, and strong customer communication skills will ensure high‑quality service on every call. You'll work independently in the field, using your knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and safety practices to deliver reliable solutions and exceptional customer experiences. We are a growing company seeking someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a desire to be part of a team focused on quality, professionalism, and long‑term growth. Skills & Qualifications HVAC system knowledge — Proficient in diagnosing and repairing heating, cooling, and ventilation systems Troubleshooting skills — Ability to identify system failures and recommend effective solutions Hand and power tool proficiency — Skilled in using tools required for HVAC service and repair Customer communication — Able to explain issues, repair options, and maintenance needs clearly Blueprint and wiring diagram reading — Ability to interpret schematics when needed Mechanical aptitude — Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical components EPA certification — Preferred or required depending on refrigerant handling Physical capability — Able to lift equipment, work in attics, basements, and tight spaces Clean driving record — Valid driver's license required Team collaboration — Works well with dispatch, office staff, and fellow technicians Responsibilities Diagnose HVAC issues and provide accurate repair recommendations Perform service repairs on furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and ventilation systems Conduct routine maintenance including tune‑ups, filter changes, and system checks Install and replace components such as motors, thermostats, compressors, and control boards Communicate with customers about system conditions, repair options, and maintenance plans Document service work accurately for each job Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times Maintain company vehicle and keep tools organized and in good working condition
