About the Role As an HVAC Service Technician , you'll handle residential HVAC service calls, diagnose equipment issues, perform repairs, and help customers make informed decisions about their systems. You'll work directly with dispatch, parts, and installation teams to keep jobs moving efficiently while delivering excellent customer service on every call

• 10:00 PM Weekend and evening opportunities available What You'll Be Doing Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems and equipment Perform HVAC service, maintenance, and preventative care Troubleshoot gas heating systems and related appliances Communicate repair recommendations clearly with homeowners Coordinate with dispatch, installation, and parts departments Handle warranty service calls and emergency repair requests Educate customers on maintenance plans and financing options What We're Looking For 4+ years of HVAC service technician experience Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic experience with residential HVAC systems Knowledge of gas systems, HVAC safety, and electrical systems Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work independently while staying team-focused Strong communication skills with homeowners and internal teams High school diploma or equivalent required Who We Are Universe Home Services is part of HXSG , a growing home services organization supporting multiple established brands across Long Island and New York.
