In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential settings. Your expertise will ensure that homeowners enjoy reliable comfort while adhering to safety standards and best practices. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and field service skills in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Duties Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and ventilation equipment according to schematics and HVAC design plans Conduct system inspections and troubleshoot issues using tools such as ohmmeters and refrigeration gauges to ensure optimal operation Perform maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC equipment, including appliance repair, refrigeration systems, and property maintenance tasks Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC/R (refrigeration) diagrams for precise installation procedures Utilize welding, plumbing, and mechanical skills to modify or adapt equipment as needed for seamless integration into residential properties Operate a driver vehicle safely for transportation of tools, parts, and equipment to job sites Document all work performed accurately in service reports and communicate effectively with team members and clients Qualifications Proven experience in construction, HVAC installation, or as a service technician within the HVAC/R industry Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, welding, boiler systems, and property maintenance Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is highly desirable Ability to read technical diagrams and use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively Experience with field service operations involving appliance repair or maintenance work in residential settings Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating a driver vehicle preferred Knowledge of plumbing systems, air conditioning units, ammonia refrigeration systems, and mechanical components is advantageous Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Embark on a career that energizes your technical talents while making a tangible difference in homeowners' lives!
