Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work independently in various environments. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for our clients. Duties Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment. Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation. Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand system layouts and specifications. Perform equipment repairs using various tools and techniques, including welding when necessary. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs. Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during repairs. Collaborate with other trades such as plumbing and construction as needed for comprehensive property maintenance. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology. Experience Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field service industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair, equipment repair, and property maintenance. Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other testing equipment. Experience with HVAC design principles is desirable but not mandatory. A valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites. Previous experience in construction or as a service technician is highly regarded.
