$60-$70/hour + Benefits We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established mechanical contractor based in Queens, NY, seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join their growing service team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a respected contractor supporting a wide range of commercial clients and projects across the five boroughs of New York City. We are looking for a dependable, well-rounded technician with strong troubleshooting and service experience across commercial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have broad mechanical knowledge and experience working with both HVAC piping and sheet metal systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial HVAC systems
• Diagnose mechanical issues and provide effective solutions in the field
• Carry out preventative maintenance and emergency service work
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation
• Complete service reports and communicate findings clearly
• Work closely with clients and maintain strong customer relationships
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to company standards
• Coordinate with internal teams and management as required

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician within commercial environments
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Experience working with HVAC piping and sheet metal systems
• Experience servicing a variety of commercial HVAC equipment
• NYC experience preferred
• EPA Certification required; additional certifications are a plus
• Strong communication skills and customer-facing experience
