Position Overview:

NJM Mechanical & Contracting is seeking a motivated Plumbing / HVAC Apprentice (Junior Mechanic) who is looking to build a long-term career in the trade. This is an excellent opportunity for someone coming out of a trade school or BOCES program, or anyone eager to learn and grow in the field. We are willing to train the right candidate who brings the right attitude and work ethic. What You'll Be Doing at

NJM Mechanical & Contracting:

Assist with plumbing and HVAC installations, repairs, and maintenance Work directly with experienced mechanics in the field Learn system diagnostics and service procedures Maintain tools, materials, and job site organization Follow safety standards and company procedures

Requirements:

Trade school or BOCES background preferred (or strong interest in the trade) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (REQUIRED) Must be able to pass random drug testing (zero tolerance) Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Professional attitude and reliability
