Full Time Residential HVAC Install Helper You will play a key role in providing top-notch services to ensure that our customers' homes are safe, and energy efficient. Join us in making homes across Rockland and Bergen Countybetter, safer, and more comfortable for everyone. You will be responsible for accurately installing HVAC equipment in residential structures. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of HVAC equipment, codes, and proper installation procedures.

What you Will do:

Replace/Install any heating, air conditioning, or refrigeration equipment or complete systems. Test electrical circuits and components for continuity, using electrical test equipment. Lay out and connect electrical wiring between the controls and equipment according to the wiring diagram, using an electrician's hand tools. Install, connect, and adjust thermostats, humidistats, and timers. Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area. Inspect and test systems to verify compliance with plans and specifications and to detect and locate malfunctions. Responsible for delivery and removal of equipment needed to complete the installation. Completes all paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough, and timely manner. Represents the company professionally, honestly, and ethically in all business matters and concerns.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

Minimum of 1 year prior experience as an HVAC Installer. High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid Driver's license with clean driving records EPA Certification. NATE certification is a plus. Knowledge of mechanical and electrical codes. Basic understanding of low-voltage control wiring and high-voltage connections. Teamwork oriented. Ability to work in crawl spaces and attics. Ability to explain technical information to customers.
