This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical expertise, troubleshoot complex systems, and ensure optimal indoor climate control. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and installing HVAC equipment to meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Duties Diagnose and repair a wide range of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration units, and ventilation systems using schematics and technical manuals. Install new HVAC equipment, ensuring proper setup according to design specifications and building codes. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system inspections, and calibration to optimize performance. Troubleshoot mechanical issues using tools like ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other diagnostic devices. Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including refrigerant line repairs and drainage solutions. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans for installation or repair projects. Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all maintenance activities performed on-site. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC systems, refrigeration, plumbing, or property maintenance. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and understand HVAC design principles. Hands-on experience with equipment repair including appliances, boilers, ammonia refrigeration systems, and air conditioning units. Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and field service equipment to troubleshoot issues efficiently. Ability to perform welding tasks when necessary for system repairs or modifications. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred. Knowledge of safety protocols related to ammonia refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems is a plus. Strong field service skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in various property environments.
