Columbus/Cincinnati/Pittsburgh Advance Your HVAC Career Are you looking to grow professionally without the pressure of sales quotas? A well‑established commercial HVAC contractor is seeking experienced Commercial HVAC Controls Technicians who take pride in their workmanship, value teamwork, and want long-term career stability. We're looking for individuals with strong technical abilities, excellent customer service skills, and a reliable work history. Experience with commercial systems and large‑scale projects is especially valued.
Job Type:
Full‑time (overtime available) Key Responsibilities Perform system start‑ups according to project plans, specifications, and contract requirements Analyze building control and HVAC system performance Maintain accurate documentation, drawings, and field notes Provide engineering support for projects as needed Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and component issues Commission HVAC and control systems, including DDC components Train clients and colleagues on control systems Build and wire control panels as required Assist the Service Department with troubleshooting calls Skills & Abilities Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities Knowledge of DDC control theory and applications Experience with HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and electronics Familiarity with computer programming, hardware, and software Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication and customer‑facing skills Credentials & Experience 2+ years of hands‑on field experience (technical degree preferred but not required) Solid understanding of HVAC and/or mechanical systems Proficient mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities Equivalent combinations of education and experience are welcome Why Join This Team This contractor has a long history of delivering high‑quality HVAC design, installation, and service work across commercial markets.
