You will be instrumental in supporting installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance activities, contributing to energy efficiency and safety standards. Duties Assist in the installation, commissioning, and servicing of HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and mechanical systems according to schematics and design specifications Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on air conditioning units, boilers, ammonia refrigeration systems, and other HVAC/R equipment Troubleshoot system malfunctions using tools such as ohmmeters and diagnostic schematics; perform repairs on electrical components, motors, pumps, valves, and control systems Support field service operations by diagnosing issues on-site and executing repairs or replacements efficiently to minimize downtime Perform welding, equipment repair, and property maintenance tasks to uphold safety standards and operational integrity Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs Operate company vehicles responsibly while adhering to all safety protocols during field visits Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), and appliance repair Proficiency reading schematics and HVAC design documents for troubleshooting and installation purposes Hands-on experience with plumbing systems and property maintenance tasks in industrial settings Field service experience with a focus on equipment repair and preventative maintenance strategies Ability to use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively for electrical troubleshooting Skilled in welding techniques necessary for repairing or fabricating components as needed Knowledge of safety procedures related to HVAC/R work environments including handling refrigerants and ammonia systems Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; familiarity with driver requirements preferred Mechanical experience with boilers or other large-scale industrial equipment is highly desirable This role offers an energetic environment where your technical skills directly impact operational success.
